The first Fall for Scituate took place in 2012 and has continued to grow to include a popular Chili and Chowder Fest. This event features the classic New England favorite, made by the area’s top restaurants and caterers as well as the ever popular Chili. Fall for Scituate events included Tow Jam Puppet Band Halloween Show, Ice Cream Eating Contest, Oldies show featuring The Turn Tables, Clydesdale Hitch Hay Rides with Peter Mundt, Music for All Ages, East Coast Video Game Truck, Madame Rushca fortuneteller; Pony Rides, Face Painting, Touch a Tractor, 24” Dual Slide for Kids and Adults, Artisan/Crafter Marketplace, Games, Food, Music, and much more.
The event generally takes place from noon until 5:00 pm at Henry Turner Bailey Road in North Scituate in the smaller T parking lot. Last year, the event hosted over 3,000 attendees. Fall for Scituate offers a great day to enjoy the fall, be with family and friends, enjoy the entertainment, and build the community.
