Scituate, MA Heritage Days: Free Fun for All
This event transforms the South Shore into a fest worthy of long, warm summer days and balmy nights by the sea. Take part in the myriad of activities happening from August 4 to 6 – you won’t run out of things to do in Scituate, MA.
Check out artisan crafts; hit up shops, restaurants, and sidewalk sales along Scituate Harbor; partake in festival vendors’ wares, like food and souvenirs; and take the kids to enjoy the art tent, petting zoo, carnival rides, and more.
Don’t forget to join tours of historic area sites, such as Scituate Lighthouse and Stockbridge Grist Mill, and take some time to view boat races and maritime events, like the Blessing of the Fleet.
Free entertainment at the festival will include performances from big acts. Expect to see Steve Augeri of Journey, Brian Howe of Bad Company, and lots of local and regional talent. Kids can get in on the fun, too, with their own special show from the Toe Jam Puppet Band.
