The top things to do in Scituate always lead to our Heritage Days
Scituate, MA is considered a hidden gem along the South Shore of Massachusetts. While many travelers seek out the nearby Cape Cod communities for their New England getaways, our small seaside town is every bit as nice and the perfect summer travel destination. Since opening our doors almost a decade ago, The Inn at Scituate Harbor has watched our neighborhood thrive, all the while continuing to hold onto its quaint, coastal charm.
This charm is never better experienced than during our Scituate Heritage Days. This is the one time of year when it seems as if all of New England descends upon us. Everyone involved in staging this highly anticipated event pours all of their love for the community into every single aspect of it. The 2018 Heritage Days promise to be bigger and better than ever, with approximately 40,000 attendees frequenting all of the rustic and unique small-town shops, restaurants and other businesses that line our streets. Also, with a multitude of family-fun events such as the games, boat parades and races, and a two-day musical festival, there’s something for everyone to enjoy during the 50th anniversary of this festival.
Even though they’re many things to do in Scituate all year round, be sure to consider joining us for the 2018 Heritage Days Festival on Saturday, August 4th and Sunday, August 5th. Located not far from all of the Heritage Day festivities, The Inn at Scituate Harbor has the perfect blend of classic charm and luxurious comfort to complement this seaside sensation. We hope if you join us, you arrive early and take in the unofficial commencement of the festival the night before (August 3rd) as the traditional Luminaria lights up our coastline for a sight that encapsulates the spirit of our community.
